EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION

Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:

The Auditor-Information Systems 3 is responsible for the following: Planning and conducting IT audits of casino gaming systems to evaluate internal controls, security, and regulatory compliance. Designing and executing audit programs to assess system integrity, change management, and software development controls. Reviewing system upgrades, production changes, and disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity and operational reliability. Evaluating application and network controls, monitors security processes, and identifies system risks and deficiencies. Collaborating with casino management, gaming laboratories, and software vendors to resolve complex technical issues and ensure compliance. Developing and maintaining audit documentation, reports findings, and provides technical guidance and training. Traveling statewide to perform field audits and other related duties in support of the Gaming Enforcement Audit Section.
