Job Description

Job Duties:
Coordinating day-to-day "in-charge" duties of planning, fieldwork and "wrap-up" to include the preparing of the financial statements with disclosures, applying most areas of GAAP as necessary and documenting, validating, testing and assessing various control systems. This position is also responsible for acting as the client contact for basic questions and information and may be involved in compilations, reviews and agreed-upon procedure engagements.
Education required:
Bachelors degree in accounting
Experience:
5-8 years
License/Certifications:
Actively pursuing completion of CPA licensing required
Software:
Experience with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Other skills: solid oral and written communication skills, solid understanding and experience planning and coordinating the stages to perform an audit of a basic private company, governmental and nonprofit entities, knowledge of internal accounting control and professional standards and regulations (GAAP, GAAS, GASB), ability to successfully multi-task, capable of working in demanding/deadline driven environment with a focus on details and accuracy.
