Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle Kelly is seeking a Field Auditor for an automotive finance company covering dealerships throughout Metairie and the Greater New Orleans area .Important:
This Is a Mix of Blue-Collar & White-Collar Work This is not a traditional desk-based auditing position . The role combines administrative and record-review responsibilities with hands-on fieldwork at automotive dealerships. A significant portion of your day will be spent on your feet walking dealership lots and physically verifying vehicle inventory and VIN numbers. Dealership lots may include concrete, asphalt, gravel, dirt, or grass , and you will be working both indoors and outdoors. The position also requires bending, crouching, and occasionally stepping onto the running boards of trucks or larger vehicles to access VIN numbers . Because you will be working around vehicles and outdoors, you may encounter dirt, dust, pollen, mud, grease, and varying weather conditions . The white-collar side of the position involves working directly with dealership personnel, reviewing records, authenticating documents, and accurately recording audit findings. What You'll Do As a Field Auditor, you will travel to assigned automotive dealerships in your territory to verify vehicle inventory and dealership records.Responsibilities include:
Physically walking dealership lots to locate and verify vehicles and VIN numbers. Verifying vehicle inventory against dealership and finance company records. Reviewing and authenticating dealer records and supporting documentation. Documenting sold, missing, damaged, or otherwise unverified vehicles. Investigating discrepancies and assisting in locating specific vehicles when necessary. Communicating professionally with dealership personnel regarding inventory and records. Accurately recording audit findings using a mobile device. What We're Looking For Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation. Comfortable driving between dealership locations throughout the assigned territory. Ability to spend extended periods standing and walking outdoors on various surfaces , including concrete, gravel, dirt, and grass. Ability to bend, crouch, reach, and step onto vehicle running boards when needed to locate VIN numbers. Comfortable working in an environment where you may encounter dirt, dust, pollen, mud, or grease. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing inventory and documentation. Comfortable using a mobile device to record and submit information. Professional communication skills when interacting with dealership employees and management. Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible weekly schedule. Why This Opportunity? $25/hour plus mileage reimbursement. 10-25 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
