JOB SUMMARY
As an Audit Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for performing and leading the necessary procedures involved in planning and executing attestation engagements for clients in accordance with the applicable accounting standards. The Audit Senior Accountant leads client engagements, maintains client relationships, and acts as a liaison between overseeing the work of internal staff and working closely with internal leaders, to ensure high-quality work is conducted and delivered to our clients.JOB DESCRIPTIONAudit Execution
- Perform complex audit procedures, including substantive testing, control testing, and analytical review, to evaluate the accuracy and completeness of financial statements
- Review workpapers, documentation, and audit evidence prepared by audit staff for accuracy and adnce to standards
- Collaborate with partners, managers, and clients to develop comprehensive audit plans tailored to client needs and risks
- Identify key areas for audit focus, potential risks, and necessary resourcesFinancial Statement Analysis
- Analyze financial statements, disclosures, and supporting documentation to identify potential issues or discrepancies
- Assess the application of accounting principles and standards, and provide recommendations for improvementsInternal Controls Assessment
- Evaluate internal control systems and processes to identify weaknesses or deficiencies that could impact the accuracy of financial reporting
- Provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients for improving financial processes and controlsClient Communication
- Serve as a main point of contact for clients, maintaining open and professional communication to address questions, concerns, and updates
- Builds client relationships and maintains smooth working relationshipTeam Supervision
- Supervise and mentor audit staff members, providing timely feedback, guidance, and training to support their professional development

- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring adnce to timelines, budgets, and professional standards
- Delegate tasks to audit staff members and provide guidance throughout the engagementTechnical Research
- Stay current with evolving accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to engagements
- Research, resolve, and document complex accounting and auditing issues as they ariseReporting and Documentation
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of audit documentation, findings, and conclusions in accordance with firm and regulatory standards
- Review and finalize audit reports for distribution to clientsContinuous Improvement
- Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance your technical skills and knowledge
- Participate in post-engagement reviews to assess the effectiveness of audit processes and identify areas for improvement

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 3 - 6 years of relevant audit experience within a CPA firmPreferred education and experience
- Experience in professional service environment, such as a CPA firm, financial consulting firm, or similar setting
- Actively working towards achieving CPA licensure or relevant certification, if not already attained
