Office Assistant of Administrative and Pupil Auditing

Performance Responsibilities:

Provide clerical support on a wide variety of topics and special projects, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature, to successful completion within the required time lines for the Office of the Superintendent. Prepare professional development and purchase card paperwork for approval by the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent. Provide back up support for needs related to the ISD Board of Education and County School Board Association. Provide support in coordinating needs related to truancy and updating the county truancy guidelines. Gather and maintain knowledge of the requirements for state reporting, pupil accounting, and pupil auditing to assist in the pupil auditing requirements. Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars for the purpose of gathering information required to perform functions associated with pupil accounting and auditing. Assist and back up the SCECH Coordinator, as needed. Assist and back up other ISD Office Assistants, as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by St. Joseph County ISD Administration. Due to this being a new position, the responsibilities of this role will continue to evolve over time with an annual review to ensure alignments with organizational needs and priorities.
