Job Description

Open availability is required. Element Fargo is hiring a part-time Front Desk Auditor to provide excellent guest service while helping ensure the accuracy of the hotel's daily financial and operational records. This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working with people, pays close attention to detail, and can confidently balance guest service responsibilities with administrative and auditing tasks. The Front Desk Auditor serves as a key point of contact for guests and helps keep hotel operations organized, accurate, and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service throughout their stay Complete guest check-ins and check-outs Process reservations, payments, deposits, and other front desk transactions Respond to guest questions, concerns, and requests in a timely manner Review daily transactions and reports for accuracy Complete assigned auditing, balancing, and reconciliation procedures Identify and correct discrepancies or escalate concerns when necessary Maintain accurate guest, reservation, and financial records Communicate important information to other front desk staff and hotel leadership Assist with additional front desk and guest service duties as needed
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Dependable, organized, and able to work independently Comfortable handling payments and confidential guest information Ability to remain professional and solution-focused in challenging situations Basic computer skills and the ability to learn hotel systems Previous hotel, front desk, customer service, or cash-handling experience is preferred but not required Open availability, including weekends and holidays, is required. Shift differential pay may be available for qualifying night shifts.
