Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Audit & Quality Control Manager to oversee mortgage quality control, regulatory compliance, audit coordination, and operational risk management. This position serves as a key partner to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and plays a critical role in maintaining the organization's compliance framework, quality assurance processes, and regulatory readiness. The ideal candidate will have strong mortgage industry experience, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and support continuous process improvement across the organization. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee mortgage quality control programs to ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements. Coordinate internal audits and regulatory examinations. Serve as a primary liaison between management, auditors, regulators, and the Chief Compliance Officer. Gather, organize, and provide documentation required for regulatory and internal audits. Review loan files and operational processes to identify compliance risks and recommend corrective action plans. Monitor post-closing quality control reviews to ensure loan quality, regulatory compliance, and investor eligibility. Partner directly with the Chief Compliance Officer to develop, implement, and enhance policies, procedures, and internal controls. Assist in preparing compliance reports, audit responses, and risk assessments for executive leadership and regulatory review. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in mortgage compliance, quality control, auditing, risk management, or related mortgage operations. Knowledge of federal and state mortgage lending regulations and compliance requirements. Experience supporting regulatory examinations, audits, and corrective action plans. Strong analytical, organizational, documentation skills and ability to work independently. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with regulators, auditors, and executive leadership.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
