Job Description
Quality Auditor Reports to: Quality Manager Monitors the quality of raw materials and finished goods, confirming conformance to specifications and the quality plan. Identifies substandard product, discusses issues with operators/supervision, confirms correction & ensures generated nonconforming product is segregated from acceptable product. Perform quality inspections/tests to required specifications in order to meet or exceed Primex's and the Customers Expectations.
Work Expectations:
Full-time, 40 hours/week some overtime required, in a hot work environment, receiving two paid 10-minute breaks and one paid 20-minute lunch.Skill Requirements:
Possess a good working knowledge of company quality standards. A self-starter, highly motivated individual with good written and oral communication skills and must be fluent in English. Basic knowledge in math, fractions, percentage, decimals. Must be proficient in using a tape measure & micrometer. A working knowledge of SPC and capability studies.Safety & Quality Requirements:
Follow all safety and conduct rules at all times; always wearing the required PPE for the job. Keep work and surrounding areas clean and free of debris at all times. All employees are expected to work diligently to maintain safe and healthful working conditions and to adhere to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injuries and illnesses.General Duties & Responsibilities:
