Job Description:
An Internal Auditor
  • Property Management assists in the evaluation of a property's internal controls over occupancy, compliance and business operations.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the properties meet their financial, operational and compliance objectives
  • Report control deficiencies to management and make recommendations to mitigate risk and add value
  • Engage in remediation of identified issues through follow-up meetings, emails, Zoom, monitoring reports, and additional site visits
  • Play an active role in the maintenance and review of policies and procedures
  • Communicate with a variety of stakeholders across the company
Qualifications and Requirements:
An Accounting or Finance/Business degree and a certification in internal auditing; at least 2 years' experience in operational auditing
  • Attention to detail is imperative
  • Organization and time-keeping skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate risk, plus implement solutions
  • Excellent reporting skills
  • The ability to keep calm under pressure, especially when there are tight deadlines
  • The ability to think objectively
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Schedule:
Must be able to work between the appropriate business hours. Monday
  • Friday 9:00AM
  • 5:00PM (40 hours per week)
