Job Description:
An Internal Auditor- Property Management assists in the evaluation of a property's internal controls over occupancy, compliance and business operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the properties meet their financial, operational and compliance objectives
- Report control deficiencies to management and make recommendations to mitigate risk and add value
- Engage in remediation of identified issues through follow-up meetings, emails, Zoom, monitoring reports, and additional site visits
- Play an active role in the maintenance and review of policies and procedures
- Communicate with a variety of stakeholders across the company
Qualifications and Requirements:
An Accounting or Finance/Business degree and a certification in internal auditing; at least 2 years' experience in operational auditing- Attention to detail is imperative
- Organization and time-keeping skills
- Ability to assess and evaluate risk, plus implement solutions
- Excellent reporting skills
- The ability to keep calm under pressure, especially when there are tight deadlines
- The ability to think objectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Schedule:
Must be able to work between the appropriate business hours. Monday- Friday 9:00AM
- 5:00PM (40 hours per week)
