Job Title Investigation and Audit Manager Location Las Vegas - Las Vegas, NV 89119 US (Primary) Job Type Full-time Category Loss Prevention Education Job Description The Investigation and Audit Manager serves as a key leader within WHSmith North America's Asset Protection (AP) organization, responsible for advancing strategies that safeguard company assets, reduce shrink, and ensure the safety and security of all team members, facilities, and merchandise. The responsibility of the Audit and Investigations Manager is to show leadership and support for Asset Protection (AP) facets of WHSmith North America (NA), ensuring that they are effective and accurate and support the overall organization's AP goals. This position provides accurate Asset Protection controls through existing programs, policies, and procedures, and will collaborate with the field, sales audit, facilities, new store construction, distribution center, and department heads. Will lead and support investigations, and work with local and national law enforcement, along with security and guard services. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours a week, with the possibility of weekends and nights depending on the company's needs

Pay :

Up to $75,000 annually Job Responsibilities Store Support Develop and leverage key partnerships within Operations and Supply Chain to impact Safety, Security, and Shrink Initiates and manages Internal and External Investigations in all WHSmith NA facilities, Stores, Distribution Centers, and Corporate Facilities Brief Senior Asset Protection Leadership on open investigations and shrink trends based on intelligence and reporting Report elevated findings daily and review with Senior Asset Protection Leadership. Compile weekly reviews for Senior Asset Protection Leadership Generate oversight files for locations (POS functions). Generate exception reports and provide analysis reports Support locations by assisting with vendor orders of physical security devices and software Support all levels of structure security and access (CCTV, Access Control, and Burglar Alarms) Conduct physical and remote audits in Distribution Centers and store locations Develop and implement shrink action plans in partnership with Operations and Distribution Center leadership, and audit results Leverages Sales Audit reporting to identify Internal Theft, initiate investigations, and share findings with field management Generates and analyzes multiple reports for patterns (Access control, Burglar alarm alerts) Support new store set-up and training of Security products, CCTV systems, and Burglar Alarms Lead Focus store program (high shrink or underperforming locations) and AP Assessments Manage access control and CCTV systems, audit user lists Corporate Office Support Assist with access to the main office area and the Distribution Center by issuing cards and codes Assist with issuing keys for the building (not all corporate employees need keys) Assists with the Courier Services (Armored car) scheduling or pick-ups Takes initiative by making recommendations as appropriate for continuous improvement as it relates to policies and procedures, vendor selection, etc. Manage access control and CCTV systems, audit user lists Commit to the highest degree of professionalism and customer service To conduct him/herself in the spirit of the WHSmith NA mission, vision, core values, and organizational health Other duties may be assigned Job Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred Wicklander-Zulawski, LPQ/LPC, or CFI certification is a plus 2-5 years of experience in a retail environment with a focus on Asset Protection, Operations, Health and Safety, and Security. The ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Strong problem-solving skills, while working well alone and in a team setting. Strong computer skills - Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, and Outlook). Familiar with retail Point of Sale, Inventory Control, and Asset Protection Software Must be able to lift to twenty-five (25) pounds Must be able to bend, squat, reach, type, stand, and sit for scheduled hours Ability to travel up to 50% in the US and Canada Satisfactory Criminal Background Check and Drug Testing may be required depending upon location Additional Security clearance may be required depending upon location We will consider related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
