Ilocatum seeks a Senior Auditor to lead complex audits for clients in professional, scientific, and technical services. In this remote-friendly, performance-driven role, you will plan and execute financial and operational audits, evaluate internal controls, and recommend process improvements. You will manage audit engagements end-to-end, supervise junior staff, and present clear, actionable findings to client leadership. Responsibilities Lead and execute financial and operational audits for clients in professional, scientific, and technical services Assess internal controls, risk management, and compliance with policies, laws, and regulations Plan audit scope, develop testing procedures, and document workpapers in accordance with professional standards Analyze financial data, identify control gaps, and recommend practical process improvements Prepare clear audit reports and present findings and recommendations to client leadership Collaborate with cross-functional client teams to understand business processes and key risk areas Support clients in implementing remediation plans and track progress on corrective actions Mentor junior audit staff and review their work for quality and accuracy Stay current with auditing standards, accounting regulations, and industry best practices Contribute to business development by identifying additional client needs and supporting proposals Required Skills Financial auditing Internal controls (SOX, COSO) Risk assessment
