General Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include: Performing and documenting internal and external (supplier) finished goods and components' quality audits based on Mil Std type AQL sampling plans as well as investigating, organizing, analyzing, and presenting the statistical data in a professional manner using current operating systems (D365 and HighJump) Excel, Access, Sharepoint, and Smartsheets databases.

Responsibilities also include:

supporting the QA department's Global Quality improvement, reporting initiatives, and testing.

Job Duties:

1. Audit finished goods and components based on Mil-Std type AQL sampling plans. 2. Analyze, store and professionally present and communicate the data. 3. Create professional visuals such as graphs and charts using programs such as Minitab and MS Excel 4. Participate in CQI initiatives and related meetings. 6. Provide technical and innovative assistance in investigating, reporting, analyzing, and presenting global quality data statistics. 7. Perform dock and warehouse audits using PITs.

Requirements:

• Min. 3-5 years experience in quality control or equivalent. Basic knowledge of sampling plans, statistics, or SPC a plus.
• A complete understanding and working knowledge of all operating systems a must.
• Flexible to work varying shifts as needed or required.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and present audit data as required.
• Proficient in the use of Minitab software, MS Excel, or equivalent for generating professional and accurate data charts and graphs
• Ability to solve problems and determine root-cause analysis.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Must be computer proficient with strong familiarity with MS programs such as Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
• Must have strong mathematical skills, particularly calculating fractions and %'s,
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working within and with cross-functional teams.
• Highly self-motivated with ability to work unsupervised.
• Must be a team player with a positive and professional disposition.
• Participate in job-enhancing training as required.
• Must be able to multi-task and to manage several projects at a time with ability to prioritize.
• Focus on continuous improvements in productivity of audits.
• Innovative and creative to analyze global indicators and statistics - both internally and globally.

Ability to perform bending, climbing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) as required.
