Job Description

The Innovative CPA Group is looking for an Attest Manager to join our team in our Worcester, MA location. The Innovative CPA Group is an employee-centric firm comprised of experienced tax and accounting professionals. We leverage the latest technology to streamline our workflow, thereby improving the service to our clients.
Essential Responsibilities:
Plan, manage, and execute audit, review, and compilation engagements for a diverse client base Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships Review financial statements and workpapers to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards Ensure engagements are completed on time and within budget Research and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues Supervise, train, and mentor staff and seniors, providing ongoing feedback and performance evaluations Assist with staff development and training initiatives Participate in business development efforts, including identifying opportunities with existing clients Stay current on industry trends and changes in accounting and auditing standards
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's preferred) CPA license preferred 7+ years of public accounting experience, with a focus on audit/attest services Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS Proven experience managing engagements and leading teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Proficiency in audit and accounting software
