Job Description

Audit Manager at Distinct | North America Audit Manager at Distinct | North America in Tampa, Florida Posted in 1 day ago.

Type:

full-time $120,000 to $140,000. Fully remote. No business development target. And a firm growing quickly enough that progression isn't just something they mention at interview. If you're an Audit Manager around Tampa, this is worth 2 minutes of your attention. This is a specialist CPA firm doing high volume, repeatable audit work. That might not sound terribly sexy, but here's why it matters. When a firm knows exactly what it does, engagements become more predictable. The technology gets better. Processes actually work. And Managers can spend their time managing rather than constantly putting out fires. You'll own a portfolio, lead Seniors and Staff, handle the final technical review and be the main point of contact for clients. More importantly, you'll develop people. They want someone who can turn good Seniors into great ones, spot problems before they become emergencies and make sensible technical decisions without needing their hand held. And because the firm is growing nationally, there should be somewhere for you to go next. You'll get: $120,000 to $140,000 salary Fully remote working 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, vision and life insurance Paid time off and holidays Structured mentoring and development Modern technology and a firm investing heavily in better ways of working You'll need an active CPA and solid public accounting audit experience. CIRA experience would be brilliant, but backgrounds in Nonprofit, Single Audit, EBP and similar recurring assurance work are very relevant too. You do need to be based around Tampa. If you've reached the point where you quite like public accounting, but wouldn't mind it being a little better organised, we should probably talk. Here's the part most people get wrong: you don't need to tick every box to introduce yourself. The apply button is not legally binding. Worst case? We chat, decide the timing isn't right, and you carry on. Best case? You bag yourself a fantastic new position.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 401(k) Plans
