Job Description
Steady leads. High close rates. Long-term stability. Our Home Energy Auditor role is built on utility-backed demand. Get consistent lead volume and be a part of a team where top-performers stay for years. The Role As a Home Energy Auditor you'll check homes for energy waste using simple tools and show homeowners where they're losing money. Then, you'll explain what to fix and why, using rebates (up to 75% or $10K) to help them upgrade things like HVAC, insulation, and air sealing. The Responsibilities Perform Comprehensive Home Energy Audits — Conduct detailed residential assessments using diagnostic tools (blower door, thermal imaging, etc.) to evaluate insulation, ductwork, HVAC systems, and overall energy efficiency — supported by a steady pipeline of utility-backed leads. Identify High-Value Upgrade Opportunities — Analyze findings to pinpoint inefficiencies (air leakage, poor insulation, outdated systems) and recommend impactful upgrades. Leverage utility rebates through BGE and PEPCO, which can cover up to 75% of project costs (up to $10K), making solutions highly accessible for homeowners. Educate Homeowners & Drive Project Sales — Clearly explain findings and solutions to homeowners, guiding them toward upgrades such as HVAC replacement, water heaters, air sealing, and insulation improvements — effectively converting audits into completed projects. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in construction, HVAC, insulation, home inspections, or energy efficiency Experience working inside homes and familiarity with mechanical systems and building envelopes
