Senior Audit Manager
What you will do

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end audit engagements
- pre-planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and final reporting
- for Non-Profit entities and EBPs (401(k), 403(b), and union plans)
- Ensure strict compliance with ERISA, GAAP, and applicable regulatory standards on every engagement
- Supervise, coach, and conduct performance reviews for audit staff at all levels, building a high-performing team culture
- Present audit findings, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations directly to executive leadership and audit committees
- Design and execute testing methodologies to evaluate internal control adequacy and identify operational or financial risk
- Serve as the primary client relationship owner for a portfolio of Non-Profit and EBP clients, supporting retention and growth
- Collaborate with firm leadership on practice development, methodology updates, and technical training initiatives What you need
- Active CPA license (required)
- 10+ years of progressive external audit experience in public accounting
- Demonstrated expertise conducting Non-Profit and Employee Benefit Plan audits
- 3-5 years leading or supervising audit teams
- Expert working knowledge of GAAP, ERISA, and internal control frameworks Nice to have
- Experience with audit management software such as CaseWare or ProSystem fx
- Familiarity with data analytics tools applied to audit procedures
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience presenting to boards of directors or audit committees Pay and benefits
- Base salary: $145,000
- $185,000 per year, commensurate with experience
