Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here A fast-growing, tech-powered, people-first CPA firm in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Senior Auditor to lead engagements, mentor staff, and work directly with clients across a range of industries. This is a hybrid role with real client exposure, visibility with firm leadership, and clear paths to grow.
Senior Auditor Benefits and Compensation:
Competitive salary: $80,000 to $100,000, based on experience Hybrid schedule: In office Tuesday through Thursday, remote Monday and Friday, client sites as needed Company-paid health insurance Company-paid life insurance 401(k) with 4% employer match 15 days PTO plus paid holidays CPA support and ongoing professional development Clear opportunities for advancement and career growth
Senior Auditor Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting 4 to 6 years of progressive audit experience At least 2 years in public accounting Experience leading audit engagements from planning through completion Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements Supervisory experience coaching and developing staff Proficiency with audit software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Senior Auditor Must Haves:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting 4 to 6 years of progressive audit experience with at least 2 in public accounting Proven ability to lead engagements from planning through completion Solid GAAP and financial reporting knowledge Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and workpapers Supervisory experience mentoring junior team members Proficiency with audit software and Excel Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Parsippany with client site work as needed
Senior Auditor Preferred Background and Skills:
CPA license, or actively pursuing certification Public accounting or CPA firm background Experience across a variety of client industries Familiarity with technology-driven audit solutions, including Thomson Reuters Passion for coaching and developing staff Client relationship and service orientation Process improvement mindset, using technology to drive efficiencies Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative
