The Technology Audit Manager will play a key role in the execution of the internal audit plan, focusing on delivering a specific area or subset of the audit plan, providing independent assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes within that scope. This role requires a strong understanding of risk management and internal controls, with a proven ability to lead and mentor a team. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are also required. Career development opportunities could include roles within the core IT organization or within the Internal Audit function. This role is hybrid and requires at least 4 days per week onsite in Dearborn, MI. You'll have… Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, Master's degree preferred At least five years of IT audit or IT security experience and/or IT experience, including software engineering, application development, and/or infrastructure design and operations Even better, you may have… Current audit certification (CISA or similar technical certification) Proven Cybersecurity knowledge through experience or certification (ISC2's CISSP or similar) Extensive knowledge of industry security frameworks (e.g.
NIST CSF, ISO
27001, etc.) and understanding of inherent risks and/or control risks. Solid staff management experience including leading and working in global teams. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with minimal direction, together with the ability to accept a leadership role as a change agent to drive new and effective processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all actions. A variety of IT job experiences preferred including application development, systems analysis, technical support, database administration, security administration and office automation. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week. #LI-Hybrid #LI-LC2 What you'll do… Support the development of Risk Assessable Entities for a defined scope of technologies or operations as input of the annual risk-based audit plan. Provide guidance and direction on audit engagements, ensuring audit work is completed in accordance with Company and Internal Audit standards, with quality, and on time. Review audit workpapers to ensure audit findings and recommendations are supported by sufficient evidence. Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and management's responses to senior management within the designated area of responsibility. Manage a team of auditors, including performance management and mentoring. Assess and address the training requirements of self and auditors. Participate in the recruitment, development, and training of audit team members. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including operating partners and internal audit partners. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization's business processes, goals, and strategy to provide sound analysis and interpretation of IT risks and technology challenges. Assist in developing a risk-based IT audit plan. Research industry trends applicable to the environment including automotive, financial, mobility, technology, cybersecurity, and audits. Interact regularly with internal Cyber Defense, Office of General Council (OGC) and Security Policy teams. Occasional travel may be required within North America.Similar remote jobs
