Job Description

Reviews and audits automated and manual commitment data by analyzing and interpreting court orders and revocation documents at an advanced level. Ensures current/prior criminal history is accurately entered into the automated system to include commitments, convictions, revocations, violent/assaultive disciplinaries and escape history. Ensures inmate numbers entered by R&E section are correct and consistent with SCDC requirements, to include previous numbers. Ensures pending warrants, holds, and/or notifies are entered in automated system and documents specific open-ended arrests (found on NCIC rap sheets). Provides technical assistance to SCDC personnel, law enforcement agencies, attorneys, solicitors, and other state agencies. Completes daily activity reports. Conducts special audits and performs other duties as required or assigned by supervisor. State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and experience in records management, information systems, or office administration.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and two (2) years experience in records management in analyzing/interpreting court documents. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for experience. May require certification by SLED on NCIC Operation.
