Job Description

Description:
DY Concrete Pumps Inc. is searching for a highly motivated, and self-driven Team Lead for the quality department. DY is a fast-growing concrete pump mounting facility that has strives to provide customers with best experience through training, service, and producing a top-quality product. Duties for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Direct, administer and coordinate day to day operation of the quality program.
  • Monitor quality performance, documenting and entering files into system.
  • Ensures compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines and procedures to provide high-quality service and outstanding customer care.
  • Promotes the development of the team through coaching, training, and leadership development.
  • Implement business initiatives including prompt corrective action plans for areas below threshold performance.
  • Ordering parts internally and controlling inventory of tools/parts.
  • Responsible for all phases of the quality management system in place.
  • Responsible for completing all testing required for each pump and chassis unit.
  • Arrival and delivery inspections of every unit.
  • Complete inspections between each of the phases of mounting a concrete pump.
  • Will be required to work outside for hours at a time for testing units.
  • Reports to Production Manager.
About you Concrete Pump Experience Required Previous experience in concrete pump operator position Excellent communication and leadership skills In-depth knowledge of quality metrics Experience in root cause, corrective action analysis Great decision-making skills Experienced in quality control in a fast-paced work environment Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations Have a passion for the manufacturing industry and working on heavy mobile equipment Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./23 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed Must be comfortable with various noise levels Clear written, verbal, and active listening communication skills High School diploma, or GED an asset but not required Must be at least 18 years of age CDL driver's license is required Benefits Full time team members are eligible for a benefits package (dental, health, vision) after 90 days Vacation time available after 1-year
