Job Description
Job Summary A temp-to-hire opportunity is available for an Auditor position within Trade Compliance in El Paso, TX. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented audit or compliance professional who is ready to build a career in trade compliance, internal controls, and CTPAT-related audit processes. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, hands-on exposure to compliance operations, and the opportunity to work with a supportive team focused on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal and external audits to evaluate compliance with laws, regulations, company policies, and trade compliance requirements.
- Review operational procedures, audit documentation, security records, IT system records, and personnel screening documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Identify compliance issues, assess organizational risk, and recommend corrective actions or process improvements.
- Prepare clear audit reports, document findings, and present recommendations to management.
- Develop audit schedules and prepare documentation for CTPAT assessments.
- Conduct on-site inspections of facilities, containers, and conveyances to verify required security measures. Compensation

$16- 18 per hour.

El Paso, TX. Required Qualifications and Skills- 1-2 years of audit, compliance, accounting, finance, or related administrative experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to interpret procedures, identify compliance gaps, and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Strong written communication skills for preparing reports, summaries, and recommendations.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to interact with employees, management, and external contacts.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage audit schedules, documentation, and follow-up tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive compliance information responsibly.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to work with records, spreadsheets, reports, and documentation systems.
