Job Description

Trade Compliance - Customs Auditor (contract) On-site Grapevine, TX Our client is a proven leader in the global aerospace sector. They design, produce and deliver innovative solutions with the aim to create a better-connected, safer and more prosperous world. Their cutting-edge products and services - which span the commercial aircraft, helicopter, defense, security and space segments - benefit from their wide-ranging expertise and continued emphasis on innovation. Currently they are looking to add a Trade Compliance - Customs Auditor to their team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Required:
Knowledge of US Customs rules and regulations. An understanding of Import/Export and Auditing processes and procedures. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Three (3) years experience of import/export and auditing procedures and processes. Six (6) years experience within a warehouse/distribution or manufacturing environment. Strong customer service focus Attention to detail / detail oriented Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English Ability to tailor communication style to meet internal or external customer needs. Functional Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Functional Experience with ERP Software (SAP, Oracle, JDE, etc…)
Preferred:
Knowledge/Experience in Aviation/Aerospace Industry One (1) year Foreign Trade Zone experience Certified Customs Specialist Certification Customs Broker License Integration Point or other FTZ /trade compliance systems SAP experience This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. Our client will require proof of status prior to employment. $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
