Automotive Collision Repair / ADAS Calibration About the Position We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented ADAS Estimator / Office Assistant to join our automotive repair operation in South San Francisco, California . This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the automotive industry who has strong customer-service and administrative skills and wants to develop experience in ADAS technology, automotive estimating, collision repair, diagnostics, and repair operations . The position will support day-to-day office operations while assisting with estimates, customer communication, scheduling, repair orders, insurance documentation, and ADAS-related administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with computers, communicating with customers, learning automotive terminology, and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. ResponsibilitiesAutomotive & ADAS Estimating Assist with preparing and updating automotive repair estimates. Review vehicle damage and identify potential ADAS-related operations. Assist with identifying vehicles that may require ADAS inspection, scanning, programming, or calibration. Assist with documenting required ADAS procedures. Research OEM repair and calibration requirements when needed. Communicate with technicians regarding required inspections, scans, and calibrations. Assist with repair documentation and insurance supplements. Maintain accurate records of completed scans, calibrations, and repairs. Assist with pre- and post-repair documentation. Office Administration Answer incoming phone calls and emails. Schedule customer appointments. Coordinate ADAS calibration appointments. Check customers in and assist with vehicle intake. Enter customer and vehicle information into company systems. Maintain accurate customer and repair records. Prepare and organize repair orders. Assist with invoices and other office paperwork. Track vehicle repair status. Maintain organized electronic and physical files. Assist management and the estimating team with daily administrative duties. Customer Service Greet customers and provide professional, friendly service. Answer customer questions regarding appointments and repair status. Provide customers with updates throughout the repair process. Communicate professionally with insurance representatives and other business partners. Explain basic repair and scheduling information to customers. Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary. Help create a positive customer experience from check-in through vehicle delivery. Insurance & Repair Documentation Assist with insurance claim documentation. Help prepare and submit supplements. Follow up on outstanding approvals and documentation. Maintain accurate repair orders. Verify customer and vehicle information. Assist with obtaining documentation required for repairs and ADAS procedures. ADAS Knowledge Knowledge of the following is a plus but training may be available for the right candidate : Forward Collision Warning Automatic Emergency Braking Adaptive Cruise Control Lane Departure Warning Lane Keep Assist Blind Spot Monitoring Rear Cross-Traffic Alert Parking Sensors 360° / Surround-View Cameras Radar Sensors Vehicle cameras Pre- and post-repair scanning Static ADAS calibration Dynamic ADAS calibration

Qualifications Required:

California DL. Bilingual; English and Spanish speaker. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail. Willingness to learn automotive terminology and technology.

Preferred:

Automotive industry experience. Collision repair experience. Automotive estimating experience. Service advisor experience. ADAS experience. Insurance claim experience. Experience with CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex, or similar estimating software. Dealership or auto body shop experience. Knowledge of OEM repair procedures. Compensation $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Starting pay will be based on experience, qualifications, automotive knowledge, estimating experience, and ADAS familiarity. Candidates with strong automotive estimating, collision repair, ADAS, or insurance experience may qualify for the higher end of the pay range. Schedule Monday - Friday Full-time position.
