In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damages, preparing detailed repair estimates, and facilitating the insurance claims process. Your expertise will help ensure clients receive fair evaluations and seamless service, contributing to our reputation for excellence in automotive repair and insurance claims adjusting. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with estimating software, and excellent customer service skills to deliver a positive experience for every client. Responsibilities Evaluate vehicle damages through thorough inspection and analysis, including property damage claims and automobile claims. Utilize computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software to prepare precise repair estimates for auto body repairs and automotive restoration projects. Collaborate with insurance adjusters, underwriters, and property owners to negotiate claims and determine appropriate coverage. Conduct damages evaluation by assessing structural, mechanical, and cosmetic damages to vehicles. Coordinate with auto body repair shops and automotive repair technicians to ensure estimates align with repair procedures and costs. Process insurance claims efficiently by documenting damages, submitting estimates, and following up on claim status updates. Maintain detailed records of all estimates, repairs, and communication using Microsoft Office tools and specialized estimating software. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining estimate details clearly and addressing client questions or concerns professionally. Skills Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients while balancing insurance requirements. In-depth knowledge of auto insurance policies, automobile claims processes, and property damage assessment. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, auto body repair techniques, and auto restoration procedures. Proficiency in estimating software such as CCC Pathways, Mitchell Estimating, or similar platforms. Experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on auto service management and damages evaluation. Excellent analysis skills to accurately appraise vehicle damage severity and scope of repairs needed. Familiarity with insurance claim processing procedures including damages appraisal and claims negotiation. Ability to evaluate damages comprehensively using technical proficiency in computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools. Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills to liaise between clients, repair shops, and insurance companies.
