Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Collision Estimator to join our fast-paced automotive collision repair team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our customers and the repair process, providing expert estimates, managing customer communication, and ensuring a smooth, transparent experience from initial contact through vehicle completion. Your mechanical knowledge and estimating skills will help accurately assess damages, recommend repairs, and upsell additional services to maximize customer satisfaction and shop profitability. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen to their concerns, and gather detailed information about vehicle damages Conduct thorough vehicle inspections using estimating software to create precise repair estimates Communicate clearly with clients about repair procedures, timelines, and costs to foster trust and confidence Collaborate with technicians and parts departments to ensure accurate parts ordering and timely repair Manage all aspects of service writing, including documenting damages, repair plans, and cost estimates in detail Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the repair process to provide updates and address questions or concerns Proven ability in dealership or auto body repair environments with familiarity in automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Experience with service management tools and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems Knowledge of auto service management practices including cash handling, sales techniques, and client communication Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us if you're passionate about automotive repair, enjoy helping customers navigate their vehicle needs confidently, and want to be part of a team that values your expertise!
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
