Primary Function:
Under the direction of the Collision Center Assistant Manager, this position is responsible for writing estimates within company standards. This position exercises initiative and independent judgment in the performance of assigned tasks and performs all duties within the objectives, standards and policies of Willis Automotive.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs vehicle inspections and write appropriate estimates for work to be completed. Reviews all estimates with customer and insurance company. Submits and communicates updates regarding any supplemental needs not included in the original estimate. Obtains pricing and availability on replacement parts. Communicates with customer regarding work progress and delays. Uploads estimates and photos to respective insurance company, including any supplemental work. Schedules work to be performed and monitors progress of all work through customer delivery. Verifies information on invoices is correct and ensures technicians are paid properly for work performed. Conducts follow up calls on estimates not scheduled when written. Answers incoming calls to the Collision Center as necessary. Performs profile updates needed for the estimating system. Follows company collision management system Invoice final repair bills What we need from you: High school diploma/equivalent required. Working knowledge of body repair and paint methods preferred. Working knowledge of a Dealer Management System preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to maintain insurability required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Outlook, and Word required Strong attention to detail required Strong written and verbal communication skills required Strong customer service skills required
