Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Collision Estimator to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing collision damage, preparing repair estimates, and coordinating with customers and insurance companies to ensure efficient collision repair processes. This role requires a strong background in auto estimating, dealership experience, and proficiency with estimating software. The Collision Estimator plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service in collision repair and ensuring customer satisfaction through precise and transparent communication. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess collision repair needs. Prepare detailed repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software. Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians regarding repair scope and costs. Write service reports and documentation accurately to facilitate smooth workflow. Coordinate with collision repair teams to ensure timely completion of repairs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive service procedures, collision repair techniques, and industry standards. Assist in managing customer inquiries related to estimates, repairs, and vehicle status. Ensure all estimating activities comply with dealership policies and safety standards. Requirements Proven experience in automotive service writing, auto estimating, or collision repair estimation. Dealership experience is highly preferred. Proficiency with estimating software used within the collision repair industry. Strong understanding of collision damage assessment and repair procedures. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with customers, insurance companies, and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of automotive systems and parts relevant to collision repairs is advantageous. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
