Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair needs using computer-aided estimating software. Prepare detailed, accurate repair estimates that include parts, labor, and materials required for collision repairs. Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair scope, costs, and timelines to ensure transparency and build trust. Collaborate with technicians and service managers to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, suspension repairs, brake repairs, shocks & struts, transmissions, and other maintenance or repair services when appropriate. Manage client communication throughout the repair process, providing updates and addressing any concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions and process insurance claims efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service. Experience Proven experience in auto estimating software and collision repair processes. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a service technician or in automotive diagnostics. Dealership experience or background in automotive service management is highly preferred. Familiarity with automotive repairs including oil changes, tire services, suspension work, brake repairs, shocks & struts, transmissions, and other vehicle maintenance tasks. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain technical details clearly to customers. Experience in upselling services to enhance customer value while supporting dealership or shop sales goals.
