Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Automotive Collision Estimator to join our fast-paced collision repair team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for customers and insurance adjusters, accurately assessing vehicle damage and creating comprehensive repair estimates. Your expertise will help streamline the repair process, ensure customer satisfaction, and maximize shop profitability. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess extent of collision damage using computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software. Prepare detailed, accurate repair estimates that include parts, labor, and materials, ensuring all necessary repairs are accounted for. Communicate clearly with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians to explain estimates and repair procedures. Collaborate with service technicians and mechanics to verify repair scopes and ensure estimates align with actual repairs needed. Manage client communication throughout the repair process, providing updates and addressing questions promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in auto estimating software and collision repair processes Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Previous experience in auto service management or as a service technician is highly desirable. Knowledge of USAA and State Farm estimating guidelines a plus. Familiarity with computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools; proficiency in CCC estimating software is essential. Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving experience is required. $50,000.00 - $76,056.96 per year
