Birmingham, AL Job Details Full-time 13 hours ago Qualifications Internal controls Industrial equipment Full Job Description Have responsibility for developing and accountability for executing an annual business plan and budget for equipment sales, rentals, service sales, and parts sales within the region that advances the Heavy Machine Inc. business goals through market share growth and acceptable branch/regional financial performance metrics. Conduct face-to-face sales calls in order to obtain new business. Stay familiar with new products and updates developed by Heavy Machines Inc. and its manufacturers and utilize this information to update customers on latest technology and product improvements. Build an account portfolio of clients and prospects with top business segments in the local market through constant work with the sales team by maintaining current customer contact information and regional activity in Heavy Machine Inc.s contact database through the PFW operating system. Ensure the parts department is properly staffed and that inventory is in place to achieve an 80% fill rate and that procedures are in place to provide a 90% fill rate within 24-hours of parts not on hand. Ensure that invoicing for machines, parts, service is executed correctly and in the timeliest manner. Ensure that Heavy Machine Inc. customers have a good equipment experience by working with and supporting the Parts/Service Manager. Maintain customer relations through personal phone calls and routine visits. Ensure effective sales coverage in the region and be directly involved in the sales effort by maintaining continuous communication with the Regional Sales Representative(s) and corporate sales resources. Manager will be responsible for achieving sales, market share, and growth objectives for the company and will be accountable for results. Complete performance reviews with location team and hold meetings with the individuals to discuss strengths and weakness. Work with location team to develop individual career paths. Work with HR to assesses manpower needs and recruitment, respond and follow up with employee issues and resolutions. Perform all other duties as assigned. Through a constructive and energetic style, the Branch Manager is expected to provide the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that Heavy Machines LLC has proper operations, controls, administrative and reporting procedures in place to effectively maintain and grow the regional business while ensuring operating efficiency. The Branch Manager is to be entrepreneurial, but must also know the critical importance of financial and operational disciplines and controls. Strong sales skills Willingness and ability to travel as needed Advanced oral/written communication, presentation, negotiation and sales strategy skills Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with the Corporate COO, Sr. VP of Sales , and to draw upon those corporate resources in an appropriate manner Ability to lead and inspire others to accomplish stated objectives The highest ethical standards including honesty, integrity and dedication Ability to diplomatically manage difficult customer and/or employee situations Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality Strong problem-solving and decision making skills. Good computer skills, excellent knowledge of Windows Office Products Bachelors Degree in Business preferred 10 plus years of sales/ sales management experience in the heavy machinery industry.
