Job Description
- 20M custom builds, elite architects, and builders who are absolutely crushing it right now.
THE WHO:
Our client is a national leader in luxury smart home integration—lighting, shades, audio/video, networking, automation—serving high-end residential clients across the U.S. and Canada. They're the biggest player in a fragmented industry, and they're building the first truly national brand in a space that's been dominated by small, independent shops for decades.THE WHAT
You will run the Boca Raton location. Full P&L. Full accountability. Full authority. You'll lead a high-performing branch with 20+ team members (plus a 3-person satellite in Naples), drive operational excellence, rebuild key client and builder relationships, and establish this location as the undisputed leader in luxury smart home integration in South Florida. This isn't a "keep the lights on" role. This is a leadership and growth opportunity . Boca has been a historical powerhouse for this company, but leadership transitions and competitive noise have created an opening for the right leader to step in and take this location to new heights. The foundation is strong. The market is hungry. You're the missing piece.MUST HAVES
We're looking for a people-first, operationally excellent, strategic leader with a background in construction, custom home building, or high-end home services . You need to understand how luxury projects work, how to manage complex field operations, and how to earn trust with discerning clients and elite builders. But here's what really matters: You need the leadership presence and operational depth to truly run this business. You know the tools, the vendors, the processes, and the people. You're not managing from behind a spreadsheet—you're leading from the front, deeply engaged with your team, your clients, and your operations. You're active in the builder and design community—attending industry events, building your network, and ensuring the company has a strong, visible presence in the market. You build the culture. You set the standard. You deliver results.THE WHY:
Because this is a career-defining leadership opportunity in one of the best markets in the country. Boca Raton and Palm Beach County are on fire. Custom home construction is booming. Luxury real estate is surging. Builders are busy, architects are stretched, and smart home technology has gone from "nice to have" to baseline expectation in high-end builds. Everyone in the ecosystem knows they need a great technology partner—but most of them have been burned, underserved, or ignored. That's your opening. Come in, lead a world-class team, deliver flawlessly, and dominate the market. And here's the kicker: you get to do this with the backing of a national brand . You're not running a small independent shop trying to compete on your own. You've got resources, systems, support, and scale that your competitors can't touch. You get to lead like an entrepreneur with the firepower of a national player behind you.THE WHERE
Boca Raton, Florida. Hybrid setup with expectations to be in-market and present with your team regularly. This isn't a remote role—you need to be accessible, visible, and engaged with your people and your clients. You'll spend your time running the business: leading your team, driving operational excellence, managing the P&L, engaging with key clients and the builder community when needed, and ensuring every project is delivered flawlessly. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.THE HOW:

Boca has experienced leadership transition. Your first priority is to step in as the steady, inspiring leader the team can rally around.Get the house in order:
build trust with your people, clarify roles and expectations, remove friction between sales and operations, and create a culture of accountability and extreme ownership.Rebuild Key Relationships and Market Presence:
Some strategic builder and architect relationships have been impacted during the transition period. Your job is to engage with the market strategically—repair key accounts, represent the company with professionalism and presence, and ensure the brand is well-positioned. You're active in the builder and design community—attending industry events, building your network, and making sure this company is known and respected.Drive Operational Excellence and P&L Performance:
You run the full P&L for one of the company's largest locations. Your mandate is to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the company's standard of excellence—while building the systems, processes, and team bench strength to support sustainable growth. You'll need to balance short-term execution with long-term planning, coaching your project managers to lead their work and training your team to deliver a world-class client experience every time.THE NUTS & BOLTS

THE COMPANY & THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is one of the top luxury smart home integration companies in the U.S., operating across key markets in North America. Our client partners with elite architects, interior designers, and custom home builders to deliver experiences that exceed expectations. And they're building something that's never been done before in this industry: a truly national, professionally managed brand in a space that's been fragmented and dominated by small, independent operators for decades. The Boca Raton location is a cornerstone of that vision. Historically, Boca has been one of the company's largest and most successful branches. You're a people-first, transformational leader. You know how to inspire a team, build trust, and get people to rally around a shared vision. You lead with conviction, poise, and accountability. You're not a "delegate and disappear" leader. You're deeply engaged with your team, your business, and your operations. You know the tools, the vendors, the processes, and the people inside and out. You don't just manage through KPIs—you roll up your sleeves, solve problems in real time, and earn respect by truly knowing the business and being present for your people. Ideally, you come from construction, custom home building, or high-end home services . You know what "white-glove service" really means. You're a proven turnaround and growth leader. You've walked into challenging situations before and turned them around. You don't need perfection to be productive. In fact, you're energized by the challenge of taking something with great bones and making it exceptional. You build systems. You develop people. You deliver results. You bring heart, passion, and accountability. You care deeply about your people and your clients. But you also hold the line on standards, systems, and results.
