About C&D Industrial Maintenance C&D Industrial Maintenance is a fast-growing, private equity-backed commercial field service company specializing in overhead doors, loading dock equipment, waste equipment, and automatic doors. We serve commercial and industrial customers — including several national accounts — across the southeastern United States, and we're building the premier platform in our industry through a combination of strong organic growth and strategic acquisitions. We're looking for a Branch Manager who wants more than a management title — someone who wants to own a P&L, build a team, and grow with a company that's scaling fast. Position Summary The Branch Manager owns full P&L responsibility for their branch — service delivery, installation work, safety, staffing, and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this role leads a team spanning service technicians, install crews, dispatch, and parts/fleet support, and plays a direct role in delivering for our national account customers within the branch's local territory. What You'll Do Own full branch P&L — drive revenue, gross margin, and profitability against plan. Lead, hire, and develop a team spanning service technicians, install crews, dispatch, and parts/fleet support. Drive customer satisfaction and retention across both service and installation work. Build and enforce a strong on-the-ground safety culture. Support national account service delivery and growth within your territory — response time, on-time completion, and site standards on national account work. Manage local vendor, landlord, and facility relationships. Partner with the SVP of Operations on staffing, capacity planning, and branch growth. What Success Looks Like Branch revenue and margin performance against plan Customer satisfaction and retention Safety record Team retention and development On-time completion across service and install work National account SLA performance within your territory What You Bring Required 3+ years of experience owning or co-owning a P&L — as a branch manager, regional leader, franchise owner, or small business operator. Proven leadership of field service and/or installation teams. Strong financial acumen — comfortable reading a P&L, managing a budget, and making decisions based on margin, not just volume. A safety-first mindset and comfort holding a team accountable to it. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Willingness to be hands-on — in the branch, in the field, and available for customer and team escalations. Preferred Experience in overhead doors, loading docks, HVAC/mechanical, or related commercial/industrial field service. We will also consider strong operational leaders from adjacent trades — plumbing, electrical, fire & life safety, facilities — without direct dock & door experience. Experience serving national or multi-site commercial accounts. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
