Branch Manager - Mortgage Sales Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead and grow our mortgage sales office. The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving production, developing and recruiting top sales talent, building a high-performing team, and executing strategic initiatives to achieve branch and company goals. This position will play an integral role in fostering a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven branch culture. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the branch's mortgage origination strategy, production goals, and sales initiatives. Develop, implement, and execute strategic sales plans designed to achieve and exceed production objectives. Recruit, develop, coach, motivate, and retain Mortgage Analysts and sales support staff. Build and maintain a strong, team-oriented culture that encourages collaboration, accountability, and high performance. Manage the day-to-day activities and performance of the sales team, ensuring established production goals are met. Provide ongoing coaching, training, support, and direction to Mortgage Analysts and support staff. Partner with the Training Department to implement effective training and development programs for sales personnel. Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities. Work closely with Corporate HR to effectively address employee relations and personnel matters. Participate in management meetings, conference calls, and other leadership initiatives. Assist Senior Management in developing and implementing company policies, procedures, and sales initiatives. Ensure all sales and origination activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations. Maintain strong knowledge of mortgage products, programs, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations. Promote exceptional customer service, strong customer relationships, and superior product knowledge throughout the branch. Collaborate with other departments to ensure an efficient and positive experience for both employees and customers. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in mortgage sales leadership, branch management, or a similar leadership role. Proven ability to recruit, develop, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team. Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales and production goals. Strong knowledge of conventional and/or government mortgage lending guidelines. Ability to stay current with evolving mortgage industry guidelines, regulations, products, and licensing requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and mathematical skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
