Job Description

Garden Island Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced and member-focused Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations, supervise and develop employees, and ensure exceptional member service. This position is also responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with operational oversight, compliance, audits, reporting, and organizational initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, schedule, and evaluate branch employees. Oversee daily branch, teller, cash, vault, and ATM operations. Ensure consistent, high-quality member service and resolve escalated concerns. Monitor compliance with credit union policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations. Assist the Operations Manager with audits, operational reviews, reporting, charge-offs, and special projects. Review and approve transactions, overrides, wire transfers, and operational exceptions within assigned authority. Support account services, deposit processing, ACH exceptions, dormant accounts, tax levies, and other operational functions. Promote credit union products and services while supporting member growth and retention. Serve as the designated branch or operations leader in the Operations Manager's absence, when assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, finance, management, or a related field preferred. Three to five years of financial institution, branch operations, banking, or credit union experience preferred. Previous supervisory or management experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of branch operations, cash management, compliance, audits, account services, and member service. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, organization, and decision-making skills.
Pay:
$58,240.00 - $62,400.00 per year
