Join a certified Great Place to Work ! As an Assistant Branch Manager , you'll partner with the Branch Manager to lead the branch to excellence. You'll perform in a variety of roles as a banker, concierge, teller, leader, mentor, auditor, and operations expert. You'll ensure the Branch Specialist team maintains expert knowledge, provides excellent service, and consistently meets CCU's expectations. Success will come easy with the passion, excitement, and positive energy you'll bring to the branch. Primary duties and responsibilities Provide coaching, training, and feedback to Branch Specialists. Coordinate activities and schedules. Complete management tasks such as delivering Performance Reviews, Development Plans, and Performance Improvement Plans. Assist members with opening various types of accounts, assisting with escalated service issues, and completing special service requests. Oversee and manage branch responsibilities and operational functions, like ATM, ITM, dispatch, vault, ordering currency, regulatory compliance, and conducting audits. In the absence of the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for running the branch. Qualifications H.S. Diploma or Equivalency is required. 2 to 5 years of management experience in a retail environment. Financial Services experience is preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Leadership, people management, mentoring and coaching skills. Service-oriented, professionalism, decision making and judgment skills, and excellent communication skills are necessary.
