Job Description

Altamira Ltd. is a full-service home medical equipment provider specializing in providing home accessibility equipment, including stair lifts, scooter lifts, ramps, patient lifts, and wheelchair lifts for the elderly and disabled. We are looking for a full-time hands-on manager with significant experience in retail residential projects and institutional/agency bathroom modification work. A manager who understands the entire project cycle—from meeting with a customer and identifying their needs to estimating, selling, scheduling, managing installation, and ensuring the finished project meets Altamira's standards.

Experience with stairlifts, ramps, platform lifts, and other accessibility equipment is helpful but not required The successful candidate should be comfortable visiting customers' homes and facilities, measuring, developing scopes of work, directing field employees, solving installation problems, and helping lead and grow our Indianapolis operation. Primary Responsibilities- Bathroom Remodeling Sales & Estimating Meet with residential, institutional, and agency customers to evaluate bathroom remodeling and accessibility needs. Perform on-site assessments, measurements, and job-site evaluations. Develop accurate scopes of work, material requirements, labor estimates, and project pricing. Prepare and present proposals to customers. Explain remodeling options, accessibility solutions, products, costs, and project timelines. Follow up on outstanding proposals and actively work to convert qualified opportunities into sold projects. Identify change-order requirements and ensure additional work is properly documented and priced. Maintain appropriate project margins while delivering competitive proposals. Bathroom Remodeling & Project Management Oversee bathroom renovation and modification projects from initial assessment through final completion. Coordinate employees, materials, permits, inspections, and project schedules. Monitor job quality, productivity, schedule, and profitability. Conduct job-site visits as necessary to ensure work is progressing according to scope. Resolve field problems and customer concerns quickly and professionally. Conduct or coordinate final project inspections and customer walkthroughs. Branch Leadership Provide day-to-day leadership by monitoring the branch workload and staffing requirements. Must be willing to travel with occasional overnight stays Direct, develop, coach, and support the branch's home accessibility technicians. Establish clear expectations for scheduling, productivity, quality, customer service, and job documentation. Help recruit, train, and develop additional field personnel. Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, safety, and excellent customer service. Business Development & Growth Develop the local retail bathroom remodeling business. Develop relationships with organizations serving seniors and individuals with disabilities. Identify opportunities for bathroom modifications through healthcare, rehabilitation, aging-in-place, and community-based organizations. Build relationships with contractors, vendors, suppliers, and other local partners. Help establish Altamira as a leading provider of accessible bathroom remodeling and home accessibility services in the Indianapolis market. Work with company leadership to establish annual sales, revenue, margin, and growth objectives for the branch. Qualifications Required High School diploma or equivalent Significant hands-on experience in bathroom remodeling, residential remodeling, plumbing, construction, or a closely related field. Experience developing scopes of work, estimating, and calculating labor and material requirements. Experience selling remodeling or construction projects directly to customers. Ability to read a job site, identify potential problems, and develop practical solutions. Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead a small team while remaining directly involved in day-to-day operations. Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Indianapolis market. Preferred Previous management or supervisory experience. Experience managing remodeling, plumbing, construction, or home-services operation. Experience with accessible bathroom remodeling or aging-in-place modifications. Knowledge of ADA and accessibility concepts. Experience with CRM, estimating, scheduling, and project-management software. Physical Requirements

Pay:
$70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
