Job Description

Job Summary The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing branch operations, leading staff, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service while achieving financial, and productivity goals. Supervisory Responsibilities Oversees the training for new employees Schedules and supervises branch staff in daily tasks and operations Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations Identifies training opportunities for branch staff implements a plan for meeting those needs Duties/Responsibilities Establish and monitor performance standards aligned with financial and operational objectives. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and organizational updates. Assist customers with various banking needs including opening new accounts, IRAs, CDs, and loan applications Encourages a high level of employee morale to minimize turnover and increase customer satisfaction Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, morale, and retention. Participates in community activities to promote the organization and strengthen community relationships Manages vault transactions and inventory of cash and drafts Maintains teller variation report and manages record retention of various reports Required Skills Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize workload and delegate responsibilities effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant banking software. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field preferred. Minimum of three years of branch banking experience required. At least one year of experience in an Assistant Branch Manager or similar leadership role strongly preferred. Experience with customer accounts, consumer lending, cash management, and branch operations preferred.
