A Banking Branch Manager manages operations and business at a bank branch office, or at the local office of a financial institution such as a brokerage or investment firm. Supervises branch staff, monitors customer accounts, loans or investment activities and security at the branch. Maintains communication with other branch managers and central or executive management. May direct local marketing promotions or participate in community events.
This position is responsible for the day to day operational functions and inventory management of the branch. The Branch Operations Manager (BOM) must ensure that customer service, inside sales, and sales support functions are provided at the highest level, all while maintaining 100% compliance with FTI policies, procedures, and guidelines. The BOM is responsible, with the Branch Manager, to ensure that the branch financial goals are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for sales functions including: Developing, maintaining, and growing walk-in customer relationships and purchases, implement upselling (mix) and add-on selling techniques with all branch customers, and post sales follow up activities
Responsible for inventory management functions including: Cycle counts and results, Inventory accuracy and adjustments, full physical inventories, maintain warehouse stocking profile, returns to vendor, sample policy enforcement & write-offs, and discontinued inventory process.
Responsible for logistics functions including: Freight policy enforcement, processing freight payments, and freight cost control
Responsible for customer service including: Order entry & accuracy crosscheck, paperwork and processing, showroom and contractor area service, new part & account set up, invoicing, ensure pricing accuracy and rules are followed, and vendor credits.
Responsible for the warehouse including: Safety (acts as Branch Safety Program Coordinator to ensure that all company safety guidelines and measures are adhered to) and processing inbound and outbound shipments & returns.
Responsible for the maintenance of the OSHA files.
Responsible for purchasing functions including: Purchasing and receiving from NDC and non FTI vendors (including application of min/max philosophy to keep Branch Inventory Valuation within targeted range), branch transfers, and reviewing backorders.
Responsible for credit functions including: Enforcing company credit policies, processing customer credit applications, weekly collection calls, and on account payments.
Responsible for cash handling including: All cash receipts, daily bank deposits, and petty cash fund. Responsible for Human Resource functions including: Weekly payroll reporting, forward HR info to direct reports, positive work environment, involved with hiring and interviewing process, and manage overtime needs and budget
Responsible for payment processing functions (SAP)
Additional duties as assigned
Miscellaneous Duties:
Review, and propose opportunities to improve, financial, and operational performance with Branch Manager
Maintain full knowledge and understanding of Florida Tile catalog of products and ancillary products offered by the company for selling, training, and customer resource purposes
Perform employee training including forklift training and SAP training
Perform warehouse and showroom duties as needed
Perform all other business functions as directed by Branch Manager
Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel
SAP experience a plus
Must be able to obtain complete knowledge of all Florida Tile products
Must be able to perform all functions in the warehouse when needed including, but not limited to, driving a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, operating a pallet jack, and lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively
Ability to meet deadlines and schedules with little supervision
Flooring or tile industry experience a plus
Associates degree or higher preferred
Operational and logistical experience is a plus
