This position is ideal for a detail-oriented banking specialist who excels at guiding staff, strengthening member relationships, and contributing to lending and sales success. The role partners closely with branch leadership to maintain smooth daily operations, elevate service standards, and help the branch achieve performance goals.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Branch Manager to oversee daily branch activities and ensure efficient administrative and operational execution.
• Guide, mentor, and develop team members by providing coaching, training, and day-to-day leadership support.
• Coordinate employee coverage, manage schedules, and direct workflow to maintain an organized and responsive branch environment.
• Resolve complex member concerns effectively while reinforcing a high-quality service experience.
• Foster a relationship-driven culture that encourages product knowledge, member engagement, and sales effectiveness.
• Support lending efforts by meeting with members, gathering application details, and assisting with consumer, home equity, and mortgage loan requests.
• Evaluate credit-related information and help identify lending conditions, documentation needs, and collateral considerations.
• Promote a broad range of financial solutions, including deposit accounts, loans, mortgages, and other credit union services.
• Help uphold branch compliance, security practices, and adherence to applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the credit union through community involvement, special initiatives, and support for additional branch locations when needed. Requirements
• At least 3 years of experience in banking, financial services, lending, or a client-facing branch environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of consumer lending and home equity lending processes.
• Strong ability to build member relationships and identify appropriate financial products and services.
• Working knowledge of branch operations, banking regulations, and service standards within a financial institution.
