Position Summary Assists the Branch Manager or District Manager and influences the profitability of the assigned branch with particular emphasis on building member relationships; expands the sales culture and provides leadership and resources to achieve desired results; directs branch staff activities towards attainment of branch sales goals; includes a consultative sales approach and conducts on-site business visits; utilizes problem solving, decision making, team building skills, and maintains a high degree of flexibility; promotes high morale and exhibits positive attitudes towards members and fellow employees while instilling a sense of team spirit throughout the branch. Ensure all policies and procedures are followed. Essential Function & Primary Responsibilities Communicate properly with all employees to ensure positive and clear understanding of credit union goals and direction. Assist Branch Manager in supervising branch team to include setting schedules, approving time off, conducting monthly coaching meetings, and providing observations and feedback. Assist Branch Manager with maintaining the security of the branch and personnel by adhering to all security policies and procedures. Must comply with dual control on cash procedures as well as ensure timely completion of all audit schedules and policies. Operates as Branch Manager in their absence and oversees all sales and operations of the Branch. Responsible for implementing the coaching training for Branch Tellers and MSR's regarding sales processes and providing additional training and support on the credit union's products and services, cross-selling techniques, and service standards. Responsible for assisting Branch Manager in meeting sales goals. This includes making outside business calls and meeting with potential commercial and consumer account prospects. Assist Branch Manager with positively promoting teamwork among branch staff and internal members and departments Interview members for financial information and provide accurate application for approval by Loan officer to include checking credit report and collateral value for non-pre-approved loans Must be able to establish new accounts for eligible members and sell the financial services that best meet the needs of the members. Maintain knowledge of all credit union products and services; cross sell those that best meet the members' needs Obtain and complete required documentation for all consumer loans and process all closings for pre-approved and non-instant loans as scheduled by the Loan Officer. Enforces compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC) requirements, and should request legal interpretation as necessary to identify compliance concerns. Adhere to applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and internal compliance with standard polices relevant to their roles and responsibilities. Perform other duties as assigned.

External contacts may include member companies, vendors, financial institutions, auditor/examiners, attorneys, law enforcement agencies, and business associations Must be able to work extended hours to accomplish organizational and or sales function goals Must be able to quickly learn core processing systems (Symitar) and possess business computer experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and other general business software Ability to apply logistical reasoning, analytical skills, and professional judgment to define and solve problems with effective and compliant solutions. Represents FPCU with professionalism and purpose, communicating with members through respectful and solution-focused verbal and written communications that support a member-focused experience. Engages in effective interpersonal communication, diplomacy, and collaboration skills to develop productive relationships, encourage cooperation, and support positive member and employee experiences.
