Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager Position Overview A growing, customer-focused dealership organization is seeking an experienced Finance & Insurance Manager to join its leadership team. This individual will oversee the finance process, present financing and protection options, maintain strong lender relationships, and ensure every transaction is completed accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations. The ideal candidate is a proven F&I professional with experience in the automotive, marine, powersports, or recreational vehicle industry. Key Responsibilities Guide customers through available financing, extended service agreements, protection products, and other ownership options. Secure competitive financing by maintaining productive relationships with banks, credit unions, and other lending partners. Present products and financing terms clearly, professionally, and transparently. Review customer applications and structure deals that support both customer needs and dealership objectives. Ensure all required documents are accurate, complete, and submitted promptly. Maintain compliance with federal, state, lender, and company requirements. Partner closely with sales leadership and the sales team to support a smooth and efficient customer experience. Monitor contracts in transit, funding status, product penetration, and other key performance indicators. Resolve funding delays, documentation issues, and lender concerns. Protect the confidentiality and security of customer and financial information. Stay current on lending guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Support a positive, accountable, and performance-driven dealership culture. Qualifications Previous F&I management experience within an automotive, marine, powersports, or recreational vehicle dealership is required. Demonstrated success with financing, lender relationships, and protection-product presentation. Strong working knowledge of dealership finance processes and compliance requirements. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer-service skills. Ability to structure deals, manage multiple transactions, and meet performance expectations. High level of accuracy, organization, discretion, and integrity. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Proficiency with dealership management systems and finance-related technology. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or professional certifications are preferred.
