An Assistant Branch Manager manages the daily operations at a bank branch office, or at the local office of a financial institution such as a brokerage or investment firm in the absence of the Branch Manager. Greensboro, NC About the Role We are looking for a motivated, dependable Assistant Manager to help lead the day‑to‑day operations of a fast‑paced staffing branch. This is a hands-on supervisory role for someone who is comfortable working with employees, customers, recruiting, dispatch, payroll, billing, and everything in between. The right person will be organized, able to shift priorities quickly, and willing to jump in wherever needed to keep the branch running smoothly. Position Summary The Assistant Manager supports the leadership and daily operations of the branch while maintaining strong communication with Business Development and branch leadership. This position supervises branch staff, assists with recruiting and staffing efforts, handles customer and Field Team Member (FTM) issues, and ensures company policies and procedures are consistently followed. This is not a desk‑only position. The Assistant Manager is expected to be actively involved in recruiting, customer relationships, dispatch, payouts, collections, and overall branch success. Key Responsibilities Assist with opening the branch and preparing for daily dispatch Support recruiting efforts including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and placing FTMs Supervise branch staff and help maintain a productive, positive work environment Manage job orders, customer requests, and daily scheduling Handle customer service needs, issue resolution, and communication with clients Oversee dispatch, check-ins, jobsite coordination, and payouts Assist with payroll processing, billing, collections, and compliance documentation Maintain accurate records, timecards, and required reporting Ensure company policies and safety procedures are followed Support Business Development with customer retention and service delivery Contribute to overall branch performance, growth, and operational success Qualifications Previous experience in staffing, labor coordination, customer service, or supervisory roles preferred Strong communication and people skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high‑traffic environment Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning operations Basic computer skills (email, scheduling, data entry) Ability to remain calm, organized, and solution‑focused under pressure Must have reliable transportation What We Offer Starting pay: $22/hr Opportunities for advancement within a growing company Fast-paced, team-oriented work environment Hands-on leadership experience in staffing and operations Work Environment This role requires frequent interaction with FTMs, customers, and internal staff.
