Minimum 45 hours per week, including rotating weekend availability as needed Position Overview USA Flooring is seeking a motivated, hands-on Branch Manager to lead our branch operations, sales team, and customer experience. The Branch Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role blends leadership, sales, design consultation, and project management. In addition to coaching and developing the branch team, the Branch Manager will actively engage customers, manage flooring projects from sale through completion, and ensure every project is executed accurately, profitably, and with exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Branch Operations Own branch performance, including revenue growth, gross margin, expense control, and overall profitability. Lead, coach, and develop Assistant Branch Managers, Sales & Design Consultants, and administrative team members. Recruit, onboard, train, and retain high-performing sales team members. Create a culture of accountability through regular coaching, performance reviews, and corrective action when necessary. Oversee daily showroom operations, including customer traffic, team productivity, merchandising, pricing accuracy, and cleanliness. Ensure strong coordination between sales, warehouse, installation, service, and Builder Division teams. Manage customer escalations and ensure service issues, rework, and warranty concerns are resolved promptly. Support local marketing initiatives, promotions, and branch outreach efforts. Operational Execution & Process Management Ensure accurate and timely order management, quoting, job updates, and close-out activity within the company ERP system. Monitor installation schedules, service timelines, outstanding jobs, and backlog to keep projects moving efficiently. Ensure jobs are properly tagged, updated, costed, and closed by month-end deadlines. Confirm installer readiness before installation, including materials, labor, site conditions, and project details. Conduct monthly inventory cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy. Review and confirm installer payments weekly. Ensure compliance with company policies, documentation standards, operational procedures, and calendar expectations. Sales, Design & Project Management Actively sell flooring products using a professional, consultative sales approach. Engage walk-in, referral, builder, and inbound customers to drive revenue. Provide expert flooring and design recommendations based on customers' needs, style preferences, budget, and project scope. Conduct in-home measurements to validate project requirements and ensure accurate quoting. Create and manage quotes, orders, and customer communication in QFloors. Serve as a key point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate projects from sale through completion with installers, warehouse personnel, service teams, and customers. Monitor job profitability, timelines, scope, and quality of execution. Resolve project concerns proactively to maintain customer satisfaction and protect profitability. Maintain a minimum of $50,000 per month in personal sales production. Performance Expectations The Branch Manager will be expected to: Achieve or exceed monthly branch revenue and gross margin goals. Drive team sales performance through coaching, accountability, and leadership. Maintain accurate and timely order entry, updates, costing, and month-end closeout. Maintain strong inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts. Verify installer payments weekly. Maintain high customer satisfaction and minimize customer escalations. Ensure timely resolution of service, warranty, and rework concerns. Develop a high-performing, accountable, customer-focused branch team. Key Performance Indicators Performance will be evaluated using metrics that may include: Lead conversion rate Close rate Average ticket value Gross margin Personal and branch sales production Installation backlog Rework percentage Service response time Inventory accuracy Order and job closeout compliance Qualifications & Professional Standards Prior leadership, sales, retail, home improvement, flooring, design, or project management experience preferred. Strong ability to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable. Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple customer projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively with sales, warehouse, installation, and service teams. Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Willingness to learn and maintain knowledge of flooring products, installation processes, and company systems. Compensation USA Flooring offers a guaranteed salary for the first three months of employment to support your training, onboarding, and transition into the Branch Manager role. Following the three-month guarantee period, compensation will transition to a Branch Manager pay structure that includes a base salary plus bonuses based on branch performance.
