Responsible for the daily operations of the store, including, but not limited to, customer service, cash control, and inventory control, in accordance with overall company policies and procedures. The focus of this position is to improve the commercial performance of the store by increasing inventory turnover and sales, increasing the store's customer base and maximizing profitability. Required to perform functions related to store operations, finance, purchasing, accounting, customer care, marketing, logistics, information technology, and administration.Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide premier customer service, face-to-face and via telephone. Manages stock levels and makes decisions about stock control. Assists the Director of Marketing in: Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits. Analyzing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning. Uses information technology to record sales figures and manage business contacts. Responds to customer complaints and comments. Promotes the organization on a local level. Maintains an awareness of market trends in the area and industry. Initiates change to improve business to include: Telephone prospecting. Suggests promotions. Suggests and executes marketing events. Interacts with key account managers, territory managers, and outside sales reps as necessary to meet customer service goals. Purchases store supplies. Keeps the store clean, orderly, and safe for customers and employees. Performs other duties as requested by manager.Skills and Abilities:
