Job Description

Position Title:
Branch Manager Department:
Savings Reports to: Vice President Savings Position Summary The Branch Manager will provide general direction, leadership, support, and operational management for a branch office. Conduct community business development efforts in support of the Association and will implement policies and procedures for daily branch operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Promoting the Association Mission Statement in providing customer service excellence on a daily basis with internal and external customers Conducting oversight of all daily branch operations Carrying out supervisory responsibilities for assigned staff Maintaining operational compliance with all Association procedures, policies, governing regulations and codes, and internal controls Remaining knowledgeable in all areas of branch and lending operations and remaining current on all of the Associations products and services Actively pursuing new business opportunities in the community, give presentations, and develop new customer relationships; participating in community activities, events, and functions to further the strategic business plan of the Association Developing and implementing branch goals Handling any customer issues/problems which have been escalated by staff and resolving to the benefit of the Association Assisting the Vice President of the Savings Department with recommendations for hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, performance appraisals, training/development, and interpretation of rules and policies for department personnel Assisting with and/or overseeing branch audit reports Maintaining organizational structure Performing other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Minimum of five years prior management experience, multi-office management and college experience a plus Two or more years' experience in developing new business or community involvement Ability to speak and write clearly and effectively to achieve the desired effect in a variety of communications settings and styles; ability to prepare and maintain confidential records and reports Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, use feedback for continuous improvement, and develop and maintain effective work relationships Ability to effectively prioritize tasks to use time efficiently and attend to a broad range of activities Ability to analyze statistical and financial data and present findings Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook A proactive and positive attitude toward customers, supervisors, co-workers, and the Association Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work with limited supervision, exercising own initiative and judgment.
