Job Description

Rhinebeck Bank is seeking a Branch Team Leader to manage the day-to-day sales and client service operations at our South Road branch. As a Branch Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the branch, resolving client service issues, and promoting a culture of excellence. Your leadership will help guide a team of Universal Bankers to achieve branch objectives while providing outstanding customer experiences. Key Responsibilities :
Day-to-Day Sales Leadership :
Lead the branch team in identifying sales opportunities, meeting targets, and delivering tailored financial solutions to individual and small business clients.
Customer Service Excellence :
Champion Rhinebeck Bank's customer service standards, ensuring that staff consistently deliver exceptional service, foster customer satisfaction, and drive customer loyalty.
Operational Oversight :
Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Employee Development :
Coach, mentor, and develop the branch team, focusing on product knowledge, enhancing sales and service skills, and building a collaborative, high-performing culture.
Performance Management Support :
Assist the Branch Manager in monitoring staff performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and guidance to help team members achieve both individual and branch goals.
Problem Resolution :
Serve as the primary escalation point for customer concerns and operational challenges, resolving issues promptly to maintain positive customer relationships.
Business Development Support :
Collaborate with the Branch Manager to identify business development opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing clients and contributing to the growth of new business.
Team Leadership :
Lead by example to create a positive, engaged, and results-driven environment, ensuring accountability and upholding the Bank's core values and service standards.
Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, service, and operations within a banking environment. Notary certification required. Proven experience in customer service, sales, or banking, with a strong ability to build lasting relationships and solve complex problems. Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on coaching and employee development. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), with a customer-first mindset. Basic knowledge of banking products and services, including consumer loans and home equity products. Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Compensation and Benefits :
Salary:
$54,000
  • $62,000 per year Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, etc.
