We are seeking a Branch Manager for our new Columbus, OH location, who is passionate about developing people, serving customers, and driving operational performance. About the Role The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operational performance, and financial success of the Ohion branch. This position oversees daily branch operations, rental and service activities, customer satisfaction, inventory management, employee development, and safety while ensuring the branch operates efficiently and profitably. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Branch Manager serves as the local business leader responsible for creating a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do
  • Lead all daily branch operations, including rentals, service, parts, and customer support.
  • Drive branch profitability while managing expenses and operational efficiency.
  • Develop, coach, and lead branch employees through clear expectations and accountability.
  • Build a high-performing culture focused on safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with the sales team to grow revenue and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Ensure equipment availability through effective fleet utilization, inventory management, and maintenance planning.
  • Monitor branch KPIs, productivity, turnaround time, and customer responsiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Regional Leadership on budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and operational planning.
  • Maintain accurate branch reporting and operational documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve branch processes, efficiency, and customer experience. What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent leadership experience will be considered.
  • Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in equipment rental, construction, industrial distribution, heavy equipment, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing branch operations.
  • Strong financial and operational business acumen.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems; ERP experience is preferred. Success Looks Like
