Job Description
Position Summary:
Manage one or more branch offices to meet the financial service needs of the community while achieving branch profitability objectives; provide direct supervision to branch personnel; develop new business for the Bank as part of the business development program and objectives.Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in related field preferred. A minimum of four (4) years relative banking or progressive financial industry experience.Strong reading, verbal and written communication, mathematical, visual, auditory, interpersonal relations, management and sales skills; proficient lending, credit analysis and branch operating systems skills; proven track record in effective and productive sales calling to cultivate business development; sound working knowledge of Bank operating policies and procedures; effectively coach, mentor, motivate and earn trust to create a positive work environment where the staff aspires to do their best; competently handle high workloads, competing demands, interruptions and distractions with poise and ease; valid drivers license.
Essential Duties:
Foster an environment of collaboration between retail, business lines and management.Supervise, motivate and mentor the branch staff to ensure optimal client service is being provided.
Inform and administer policies and procedures affecting branch operations; confirm branch operations are performed in accordance with these policies and procedures.
Ensure branch is properly staffed and personnel are trained; manage personnel time and attendance; assist in the selection of new personnel as applicable, supervise and provide proper branch security ensuring branch personnel are trained in all security areas.
Preparation of branch reports.
Supervise opening and closing the building and vault.
Maintain business and social contacts in the Banks marketing area to develop and retain new client business; participate actively in the Banks sales and marketing program, including making effective business sales calls on prospects and attending local community events.
Manage branch daily in a manner assuring the attainment of branch annual goals and objectives; jointly establish sales and service goals with assigned supervisor; initiate actions to achieve those goals; actively contribute to the growth of retail loans and deposits to increase profitability; conduct regularly scheduled staff sales meetings.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of consumer products and services to ascertain client needs and to sell in conjunction with those needs; provide direct service to clients with respect to deposit, loan, trust and other products and services; maintain an active National Mortgage Licensing System registration adhering to requirements; initiate external and internal calls on existing and prospective clients to develop new business and retain or expand existing business.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all bank products and services; refer clients to business partners and cross-sell bank products and services; process numerous types of transactions; make and process all types of loans to ensure adherence in meeting the Banks established credit guidelines; provide required documentation in a correct and efficient manner; manage resolution of client complaints; monitor branch activities including transactions per hour, cash control, open and closed accounts, loan production and calling efforts; build and maintain client; maintain confidentiality.
