Position Overview We are seeking a Branch Manager for a well-established building materials and construction supply company. This role will be responsible for overseeing branch operations, leading a team of employees, driving sales growth, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and foster long-term customer relationships. Lead branch operations with professionalism, integrity, and accountability. Drive operational excellence through best practices focused on safety, quality, service, and cost efficiency. Identify and act on sales opportunities to support branch growth. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, deliveries, and staff performance. Recruit, coach, and develop employees to support succession planning and team growth. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance branch performance. Manage budgets, financial performance, and P&L responsibilities. Supervise exempt, non-exempt, and hourly employees. Partner with sales teams to strengthen customer relationships and improve revenue performance. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous supervisory or management experience required. Experience within the building materials, construction, distribution, or related industry preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and DOT inspections. Proficient computer skills. Valid driver's license required if operating a company vehicle. Education Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Travel Local travel required. Less than 25% travel. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, crawl, climb ladders, and perform physical duties as needed.
