Job Title:
Accounts Payable Team Lead Job Description Lead the accounts payable function in a dynamic manufacturing environment, overseeing full-cycle invoice processing, purchase order matching, and payment activities while providing guidance and support to a small accounts payable team. Responsibilities Lead and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable function in a manufacturing environment. Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice receipt, verification, coding, and payment processing. Review and process invoices in alignment with purchase orders and company policies to ensure accuracy and compliance. Monitor and prioritize accounts payable workload to meet deadlines and maintain timely vendor payments. Provide oversight and direction to one or more accounts payable team members, including mentoring and support on complex issues. Use SAP to enter, track, and reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies. Create and maintain Excel pivot tables and reports to analyze accounts payable data and support decision-making. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice, purchase order, and payment-related questions. Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and internal reviews. Contribute to continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounts payable experience. Proven experience overseeing one or more accounts payable team members. Experience in accounts payable within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle accounts payable processes. Proficiency with SAP for accounts payable and invoice processing activities. Advanced Excel skills, including creating and working with pivot tables. Solid understanding of invoice processing, invoicing, and purchase order workflows. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with accounts receivable processes is a plus. Comfort working in a manufacturing setting with related financial workflows. Ability to analyze data and produce clear reports using Excel and other tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with internal teams and vendors. Organizational skills to maintain thorough documentation and support audit requirements. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
